Trello vs. Asana: How to Get the Best of Both Worlds by Using ClickUp
You know you need a better way to manage your projects and everyone you speak to is either team Asana or team Trello, but you’re still unsure of which one to use. Let me tell you about the difference between Asana and Trello and introduce the piece of software that has the best of both.
trello vs. asana
Trello and Asana are quite similar in what they provide. The biggest difference between them is how they deal with tasks.
Trello is based on boards that have cards on them. Each card contains information and can be moved between the different boards.
Asana, on the other hand, user either a board or a list-based system that you can set for each project.
Boards vs. lists
Although I love boards to visualise processes and how things move through various steps of a workflow, I feel that lists are much clearer when I actually need to get work done.
Lists are great!
But boards are great too!
And that’s where I introduce ClickUp! It’s like the offspring of Asana and Trello…but better than both of them.
What the clever cookies at ClickUp have done is linked tasks to both lists AND boards so that you can switch between the two views depending on how you feel.
And it gets even better, because you can see everything mapped out in your calendar too.
I love not being restricted to one way of viewing my tasks.
